It is located close to the village of Athani where it seems like time has stopped and traditions are kept. In the village you can find a grocery store and several great tavernas with local traditional food for every taste.

The 4500SQM land surrounding the villa is fully fenced with an electric gate and beautifully landscaped with swingbeds, pergolas, luxury sunbeds and a big BBQ ready for you to be used. At the back of the villa there is a private parking area with space for more than five cars.

However the property is located within the beautiful natural surroundings and contact with insects or small animals (eg stray cats, mice, reptiles, flies, mosquitos, ants etc) cannot always be prevented.

Super Villa but room for improvement

Beautiful villa located in a secluded spot with incredible (sunset) views across the Ionian Sea. Unfortunately, as wonderful as the villa is, the overall maintenance was not commensurate with the standard expected of a villa at this level. From the fact that there was only a single fine wine glass (the others being small with thick glass some of which were some chipped), to faulty electronics (hob and snackwich machine), a soiled roasting pan in the oven, an infinity pool with a filter that only worked a couple of days on the trot to having get to ask for the grass to be cut because it was so overgrown. Furthermore, the exterior furniture in the photos did not reflect what was actually there. We also had no broadband for a few days, but I believe that was an issue with the service provider. All these things are minor issues that could easily be addressed, but frankly when you are paying this type of money for 2 weeks, one should not have to experience this. I will say however, that Lefkada Rentals and the owner was very attentive when we had needed help and could not have been more pleasant to deal with. If you get your maintenance right, you will have a incredible property worth of the rates you are charging and which I would then highly recommend.
